Kevin P. Lemaire

Could it be that Kevin P. Lemaire, a paralegal at Williiam Goodell, Jr. in Prairieville, Louisiana is "Not At All Surprised" publishing on Slabbed, member of the Slabbed Nation?

Could this be the same Kevin Lemaire of "LEMAIRE v. CIBA GEIGY CORPORATION" fame? Represented by Wendell H. Gauthier, James R. Dugan, II, Bruce C. Dean, Metairie, LA???

Lemaire, who had worked for IT Corporation as a technician since 1982, took a very active role in the cleanup of the [Ciba Geigy] sand bed filter pond.   According to Lemaire, he would spend a “good part of the day” working in the dumpsters shoveling sludge from one end of the dumpster to the other.   There were times when the sludge would not only get in his hair, ears, and nose, but it would also get in his shoes/boots, socks, underwear, and gloves.

This Wendell Gauthier plaintiff Kevin Lemaire seems to have somehow ended up working as a trained paralegal for attorney Calvin Fayard, but there was a falling out. How does a sludge cleanup technician become a paralegal after being a Gauthier plaintiff, and then end up working with at an influential plaintiff firm friendly to Gauthier?

Could this explain the vitriol against Fayard published on Slabbed?

Lemaire recently filed an ill-fated complaint against Fayard and family with the FEC:

RESPONDENTS: Calvin C. Fayard, Jr.; Cynthia Fayard; Chalyn Fayard; Cathryn Caroline Fayard; Calvin C. Fayard, III; Frances Gray Fayard; Carolyn Mistoler; D. Blayne Honeycutt; and Valerie Honeycutt

COMPLAINANT: Kevin P. LeMaire

SUBJECT: The complaint alleged that Calvin C. Fayard, Jr. or Cynthia Fayard provided the funds their daughter Chalyn Fayard used to make a $10,000 contribution to the federal account of the Democratic State Central Committee of Louisiana. The complaint alleged further that the $55,000 in additional contributions to that federal account, which the committee reported had been made by Fayard family members, were in fact contributions from an unnamed source.

DISPOSITION: The Commission found no reason to believe the respondents violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, (the Act) or Commission regulations in light of available information that shows Chalyn Fayard made the $10,000 contribution with her own funds, and because respondents denied the speculative allegations regarding the additional $55,000 in contributions.

Could "Not At All Surprised" be the same Kevin Lemaire who filed a complaint against Fayard with the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board in 2007, and who had a legal dispute with same over fees?

Is Slabbed about personal vendettas and animosity or a "search for the truth" like the blog's publisher says?
